Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions in the tech and education sectors. At SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has contributed as both an electrical engineer and firmware engineer, focusing on hardware and firmware development for Digital Vision Touch interactive whiteboards and other educational devices. Prior experience includes electronics contracting for the Science Alberta Foundation, work as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary, and electronics engineering for Grindcom, where Chris designed control systems for forestry equipment. Academically, Chris holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
