Daniel Fuja has worked as a Scientist at BioFire Defense since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Utah Health from December 2017 to July 2021.

Daniel Fuja completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology, General from Brigham Young University, which they pursued from 2001 to 2006. Daniel then pursued a Master of Science degree in Molecular Biology from the same university from 2006 to 2009. Following this, Daniel completed their education at Baylor College of Medicine, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Integrative Molecular and Biomedical Sciences (Cell and Molecular Biology) between 2008 and 2017.
