Mark Gurling

Regulatory Scientist III at BioFire Defense

Mark Gurling is currently working as a Scientist II at BioFire Defense. Prior to this, Mark held postdoc positions at McClain Lab, Villanueva Lab, and Garriga Lab. Mark has a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cell Biology from UC Berkeley and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Westminster University. Mark has a strong background in conducting research in the field of cell biology, genetics, and genomics, with experience in genome editing, microscopy, and mentoring undergraduate researchers.
