Ian McLean

Ian McLean has worked for several companies in various roles. Ian began their career in 2008 as an Associate at Skadden Arps. In 2009, they moved to Woodside Counsel PC, where they held the same role. In 2014, they were promoted to Managing Associate at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP. In 2016, they became Corporate Counsel at The Clorox Company. In 2019, they were appointed Director, Senior Counsel at SoftBank Investment Advisers. Most recently, in 2022, they were appointed Head Of Legal at Biofire.

Ian McLean obtained their JD from the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law in 2008, having studied Law. Ian also obtained a BS in Biology from UC San Diego between 2000 and 2004. In December 2020, they obtained the Certified Information Privacy Professional - United States (CIPP/US) certification from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals.
