Francois van Vuuren

Francois van Vuuren has extensive experience in clinical data systems and programming. Francois is currently the Director of Clinical Data Systems & Programming at Bioforum the Data Masters, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Associate Director of DM Programming at the same company from February 2021 to January 2023.

Before joining Bioforum the Data Masters, Francois worked at IQVIA for many years. Their roles at IQVIA included Manager of Clinical Data Programming from July 2018 to February 2021, Principal Analyst of Clinical Data Programming from April 2017 to February 2021, Senior Statistical Programmer from August 2013 to March 2017, SAS Programmer - Senior Analyst, CDP from January 2010 to July 2013, and Analyst, CDP from March 2005 to December 2009. Francois had various responsibilities during their tenure at IQVIA, including planning and coordinating database design and development, implementing and maintaining clinical systems, providing technical expertise to internal and external clients, and serving as a lead programmer on the corporate team.

Francois van Vuuren attended Northern Cape High School in Kimberley, South Africa from 1995 to 1999. Francois graduated with a degree in Information Technology - N.Dip.
