Mark Belokopytov

Clinical Director at BioGenCell

Mark Belokopytov has worked in a variety of roles since 1996. Mark started their career as a Researcher at Assaf HaRofeh Medical Center, where they planned, coordinated, and participated in clinical studies. In 1998, they took on two roles simultaneously, working as a Physiologist for the Israeli Police and a Consultant for Optonol. In 2000, they became a Project Leader at Sheba - Tel Ha SHomer Hospital, where they managed preclinical and clinical projects in neuroscience, neurology, neuroprotection, immunology, stem cells, and ophthalmic technologies. From 2006 to 2016, they were a Member Board of Directors and CTO at Step of Mind ltd, where they were responsible for business plan and strategy development, negotiations, elaboration of development ideas, R&D management, management of the development team, product management, production, and stock management. Mark also handled patent writing and submission, as well as IP management. From 2010 to 2015, they were a Visiting Lecturer at Ben Gurion University of the Negev and a Lecturer at Ariel University of Samaria in the Health Science - Physiotherapy field. From 2016 to 2022, they were the Clinical Director at Remedor Biomed Ltd. Since 2022, they have been the Clinical Director at BioGenCell LTD, a company focused on the development of groundbreaking cellular therapies for people in need.

Mark Belokopytov obtained their PhD in Physiology and Pharmacology from Tel Aviv University in 2006. In 2011-2012, they attended Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. In 2006, they also attended Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna for a Summer School in Dept. of Electronics Computer Science & Systems (DEIS). Mark attended Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry from 1988 to 1990.
