Crystal Winkeler

Crystal Winkeler has a diverse work experience in the field of biosciences and venture capital. Crystal is currently the Managing Director at BioGenerator Ventures, a position they have held since May 2022. Previously, they worked at Bruker as the COO and VP R&D of Canopy Biosciences, a subsidiary of Bruker, from September 2020 to April 2022. Before that, Crystal co-founded Canopy Biosciences in 2016 and served as the COO until April 2022. Crystal also worked as a Sr. Investment Analyst & VC Fellow at BioGenerator Ventures from February 2013 to September 2016. Crystal'searlier experience includes working as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Washington University School of Medicine from November 2011 to February 2013.

Crystal Winkeler pursued a Bachelor's degree in Cell and Molecular Biology at Bradley University from 2001 to 2005. Crystal later obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Washington University in St. Louis between 2006 and 2011.
