Joanna Dispirito

Joanna DiSpirito is a seasoned professional in the field of translational biology and sciences, currently serving as the Director of Translational Biology at Biohaven since November 2023. Previously, Joanna held the position of Associate Director of Translational Sciences at Novasenta from October 2022 to November 2023, and played a key role as Associate Director of Translational Sciences and Precision Medicine, as well as Senior Scientist II and Senior Scientist I in Immunology at Rheos Medicines from May 2018 to August 2022. Joanna's academic background includes postdoctoral fellowships at Harvard Medical School and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine from 2010 to March 2018, following the completion of a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology at the University of Pennsylvania. Joanna also holds a BS and BA in Microbiology and History, respectively, from the University of Rochester, earned in 2004.
