Mikko Kunnas

Mikko Kunnas has a diverse work experience. Mikko started their career in 1988 as an Area Sales Representative at Elosen Leipomo Oy. Mikko then worked as a Mechanical Installer and Translator at Ahlström Pump Inc. In 1989, they joined Lieksan Konepaja Oy / Valmet Papermachinery Oy as a Project Purchaser. From 1991 to 1993, they worked as a Technical Purchaser at Valmet Aviation Oy. In 1993, they became the Purchasing Director and Co-owner of Apollo Materials Oy. Mikko then worked as a Designer and Technical Purchaser at Kvaerner Masa-Yards from 1997 to 1999. In 1999, they joined Merima Oy as a Senior Purchaser and stayed there until 2007. Currently, they are the Head of Sourcing & SCM as well as the Purchasing Manager at Sartorius Biohit Liquid Handling Oy.

Mikko Kunnas has a diverse educational background. In 1983-1984, they attended Fruita Monument HS as an exchange student in the USA. Following this, from 1985 to 1987, they pursued a Business degree at JJKL college of commerce, focusing on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Later, in 2006-2007, they furthered their education by obtaining a Specialist qualification for foreign trade from Adulta Oy & HKKL, specializing in International purchasing and Chinese trade.
