Marzia Pesaresi

Marzia Pesaresi is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in both industry and academia. Currently a Senior Scientist at Precision for Medicine and BioIVT since August 2018, Marzia specializes as a Study Director for GLP studies and manages antibody testing at Abcam. Previously, Marzia held post-doctoral positions at the University of Milano, focusing on axonal transport in diabetic neuropathy and at the Rotman Research Institute, where research centered on testosterone's effects on axonal transport and mental health. Marzia also conducted neuroendocrinology research on neuroactive steroids' protective effects in peripheral neuropathy. Marzia holds a Master’s in Scientific Communication and Journalism from Università degli Studi di Ferrara and a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Milano.
