Patrick Asplund

Patrick Asplund has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Patrick started their career at Raytheon as a Manufacturing Engineer, where they provided support in various manufacturing areas and served as a System Owner for drawings. Patrick then worked at Diosynth as a Purification Associate before joining Human Genome Sciences as a Scientist in Purification Sciences. At Cook Pharmica, Patrick held various roles including Manager of Engineering, Director of Engineering, and Principal Engineer. Currently, they are working at Catalent Pharma Solutions as a Principal Scientist.

Patrick Asplund earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University from 1983 to 1988. Patrick then pursued a Master's degree in the Bioengineering Program/Department of Chemical Engineering at Penn State University from 1991 to 1994. Lastly, they completed their education with a Ph.D. in the same program and department at Penn State University from 1995 to 1999.
