Jessica Wei

Jessica Wei has demonstrated extensive work experience in the field of biotechnology and life sciences. Starting in 2000, they held various research and associate roles at UCSD, Genomics Institute of the Novartis Research Foundation, Phenomix Corporation, and Biogen Idec. In 2005, they joined eBioscience as a Technical Support Associate, and later moved to BD Biosciences as a Senior Technical Support Specialist & Marketing Product Initiative Specialist in 2006. From 2009 to 2022, they worked at BioLegend, where they held several roles including Director of Strategic Channel Management, Associate Director of International Sales & Distribution, and Senior Marketing Product Specialist. Jessica'sresponsibilities included market assessment, process improvement, customer and sales liaison, and shaping company direction. Jessica Wei's most recent position at BioLegend was Director of Global Sales and Support.

Jessica Wei has a strong educational background in the field of biology and marketing. From 1996 to 2000, they attended UC San Diego and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in molecular biology. Jessica then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science in cell and developmental biology from the University of California, Davis, from 2004 to 2005. Building on their scientific foundation, they went on to earn an MBA in marketing from the University of California, San Diego - Rady School of Management, where they studied from 2007 to 2009.
