Ganesh Balakrishnan has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Ganesh worked at Biological E. Limited starting in 2020, where they held the position of Vice President & Head of Business Development for Fermentation & Chemical APIs. Previously, from 2013 to 2020, they worked at Piramal Pharma Solutions, initially as Vice President and later as Head of Established Products. Prior to that, they worked at Orchid Pharma from 1998 to 2013, where they held the position of Senior General Manager & Head of Corporate Strategy & Development.
Ganesh Balakrishnan completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) Hons degree from BITS Pilani from 1989 to 1993. In 1997 to 1998, they pursued a PG diploma in International Business from Pondicherry University. Additionally, they obtained an MBA degree with a specialization in Finance & Marketing from ITM Business school from 1993 to 1995.
