Diontrey Thompson

Diontrey Thompson, Ed.D, currently serves as the Vice President and Global Head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc., starting in June 2024. Prior to this role, Diontrey held significant positions in diversity, equity, and inclusion at United Airlines and Noom, where strategic initiatives were developed to enhance organizational culture. At Genentech, Diontrey functioned as Senior Director of Strategy, Culture, and Belonging, leading extensive programs for Roche's 90K employees. Previous experience includes a series of progressive leadership roles at Stanford University, where Diontrey implemented equity initiatives and managed various educational and residential programs aimed at supporting underrepresented students. Diontrey's educational background includes an Ed.D. in Organizational Change from the University of Southern California, complemented by degrees in Student Affairs Administration and Human Resource Management.
