Aristos Aristidou

Aristos Aristidou is an accomplished professional in the field of biochemical and bioprocess engineering, currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Biomason since May 2023. With an extensive career, Aristos has held key positions, including Member of the National Academy of Engineering since February 2018, Director of Biotechnology R&D at Cargill from December 2012 to June 2023, and Vice President of Bioprocess Development at Gevo Inc. from October 2007 to December 2012. Earlier roles include leadership in bioprocess physiology at the Finnish Technical Research Center and quantitative physiology at NatureWorks LLC, since the late 1990s. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering from Rice University and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
