Cassy Deal

Cassy Deal has worked in the Human Resources field since 1992. Cassy started their career as an Area Coordinator for Navigation Technologies, where they maintained the Orlando map and recruited and developed new territories. In 2005, they moved to SMS Holdings, Inc. as a Corporate Recruiter. Cassy then joined Teleflex Medical as a Contract Recruiter in 2007. That same year, they also became a Human Resources Recruiter for Time Warner Cable. In 2009, they were hired as a Senior Human Resources Generalist at Shaw University, where they served as a HR Partner and a stand-in for the HR Vice President in absence. In 2013, they became a Leave Consultant at NC State University, providing consultative expertise with regard to rights and responsibilities of both employees and management in the navigation of leave processes. In 2015, they joined SMT (SportsMEDIA Technology Corp) as Director of Human Resources, where they managed two divisions, oversaw all aspects of talent acquisition and onboarding, total benefits/compensation, payroll, compliance, employee talent & development, employment relations, performance evaluations, and data analytics and HR strategies. In 2022, they will become the Director of Human Resources for Biomason.

Cassy Deal holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Central Florida. Additionally, they have obtained a SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM in January 2015 and a SPHR certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
