Uzma Ahmed

Uzma Ahmed, MD, MS has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Uzma is currently working as a Director Clinical Development Scientist (Phase I Oncology) at Biomea Fusion since February 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Director, Clinical Development Scientist at Gritstone bio from June 2021 to January 2023. Uzma also worked as a Clinical Development Scientist at Takeda from November 2020 to December 2021. Additionally, Uzma worked as a Clinical Scientist at Genentech through Planet Pharma in September 2020. Uzma served as a Director, Clinical Science at Iovance Biotherapeutics, Inc. from January 2020 to July 2020. Uzma also has experience in the Veterans Health Administration as a Health Science Specialist from October 2011 to June 2015. Uzma began their career as an Extern at the Veterans affair Washington DC mental health facility from January 2011 to May 2011. Throughout their career, Uzma has demonstrated expertise in clinical development, data analysis, study management, and patient care.

Uzma Ahmed, MD, MS completed a Bachelor's degree in Medicine at Jinnah Sindh Medical University from 1989 to 1995. Later, from 2016 to 2018, they pursued a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management at California State University - East Bay.
