Dr Poubom Rayban

Dr Poubom Rayban has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. In 2019, they worked as a Sales and Marketing Specialist at BioMedomics, Inc. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Executive Officer of Groupement des Pharmaciens Nationaux (GPN) Sarl Cameroon, starting in November 2017. Dr Poubom also owned and managed Donangu Pharmacy/Groupement Des Pharmaciens Nationaux du Cameroun (GPN Sarl) as the Pharmacist in Charge and Business Development Manager. In 2015, Dr Rayban worked as the General Manager of Bonrifuh Investment Firm and Pharmacist in Charge at Donangu Family Pharmacy, where they also founded Poubom Cosmetics. Before that, they gained experience as a Pharmacist at Deido Pharmacy, where they handled various responsibilities including stock and sales control, drug orders, and patient care. Dr Poubom started their career as a Pharmaceutical Visitor Intern at Pfizer Cameroon in 2014. Dr Poubom further worked as a Pharmacist at GRP-Cameroun, where they supervised production, quality control, and sales. Prior to that, they conducted cosmetic trials at Laboratoires Phytorica, focusing on the extraction and purification of essential oils. Dr Poubom also gained experience in quality control and stability testing of generic drugs during their traineeship at GENEMARK and ONE QOL. Lastly, they completed an internship at Yaounde Central Hospital, where they were involved in the management of hospital pharmacy and laboratory analysis.

Dr. Poubom Rayban's education history includes a variety of certifications and degrees. Dr Poubom obtained a Doctorate in Pharmacy from Universite Des Montanges, where they studied from 2005 to 2012. Additionally, they completed several online courses through the Young African Leaders Initiative (Yali) from 2016 to 2017. These courses include certifications in Workforce Collaboration and Development, Strategies for Personal Growth and Development, Fundamentals of Starting and Running a Business, Management Strategies for People and Resources, and Understanding The Rights of Women and Girls. Prior to their university studies, Dr. Rayban obtained an A Level Certificate from Baptist High School and an O Level Certificate from Saker Baptist College, both in the field of Science.
