Barrett Yates, PMP, has a diverse work experience spanning from 2008 to the present. Barrett'smost recent role is as the Director of New Product Development at Biomerics since 2023. Prior to that, they held positions such as the New Product Development Manager and Program Manager at the same company. At Biomerics, Barrett led project management of the largest transfer program to date, resulting in significant revenue increase and successful completion ahead of schedule.

Before joining Biomerics, Barrett worked as an R&D Engineer at CoNextions Medical, where they managed the design and development of a new orthopedic implant. Additionally, Barrett worked as a Design Engineer at Fillauer, where they designed and developed a new category of prosthetic feet.

Barrett'scareer began as a Computer Technician at the University of Utah School of Medicine, where they managed hardware and software maintenance, developed a secure academic examination solution for medical students, and designed an interactive office space for IT professionals. Barrett's work experience demonstrates their expertise in new product development, project management, design engineering, and quality assurance.

Barrett Yates, PMP, holds a Master of Science in Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University, which they obtained from 2013 to 2014. Barrett'sdegree focused on Bioengineering Innovation and Design. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Utah, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. In November 2019, Barrett received the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
