Arvind Lakshman

Arvind Lakshman has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Arvind began their career as a Quality Officer at Arvind Brands, where they played a key role in the start-up of the Lee Jeans plant in Bangalore, India. Arvind then moved on to OTIS, where they worked as an Industrial Engineer, leading projects related to high-bay racking systems and paint-line installations.

Lakshman transitioned into the field of SAP consulting, working as a Senior SAP Consultant at McCreade Asia PVT LTD and later at Clarkston Consulting. In these roles, they focused on implementing various processes and managing cross-functional master data loads for clients in the life sciences and consumer products sectors.

In 2003, Lakshman joined GLAXOSMITHKLINE as a Senior SAP Consultant and provided support for the company's Manufacturing and Commercial ERP Systems. Arvind was responsible for ITIL-aligned processes and hands-on support in integration areas.

Since 2010, Lakshman has been associated with bioMérieux, initially as an SAP Project Manager and subsequently taking up roles such as ERP/Logistics Platforms CoE Leader, Sr. Manager IS Operations, Director Business Technologies, and currently as the Vice President Business Technologies. In these positions, they have been responsible for driving core deployments of SAP and SFDC, delivering identity and roles & authorizations, ensuring smooth operations of all systems, and managing transversal partners.

Arvind Lakshman completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the NC State Poole College of Management from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Production Engineering from Bangalore University, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. In addition to their academic achievements, Arvind also holds certifications such as the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management - V3 from PEOPLECERT in 2013.
