John Gardner

John Gardner has extensive experience in various engineering roles spanning over several companies. John began their career in the United States Army as an M-1 Tank Crewman, where they gained experience in maintenance, operation, and tactical maneuver of M1 series main battle tanks. After their military service, John worked as a Drill Instructor in the United States Army Reserve, where they trained and supervised platoon-sized units of new soldiers.

John then transitioned to civilian work, starting as a Computer Services Consultant at Kinkos, where they provided computer graphics and desktop publishing services. John later worked at Ogden Mfg Co and Chromalox as a Project Engineer and System Engineer, respectively, focusing on the design of industrial electric heating equipment.

In 2005, John joined L3 Communications as a Process Engineer and later became a Mechanical Engineer, specializing in environmental packaging for defense industry electronics. John then moved on to BioFire Diagnostics, LLC, where they held the roles of Mechanical Engineer and Engineering Manager - Plastics. In these positions, John was responsible for injection molding engineering, design, qualification, validation, and deployment of molds for medical device consumables and instruments.

Most recently, John joined bioMérieux as an Associate Director of Engineering - Plastics Team. John currently manages a team of injection molding engineers and oversees the design, qualification, validation, and deployment of molds for medical device consumables and instruments. John also develops and maintains capacity plans to ensure an uninterrupted supply chain and leads improvement efforts on measurement systems and overall part quality.

John Gardner graduated from Pennsylvania State University-Erie Campus in 2000 with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
