Marc Haribou

Senior Vice President - Clinical Operations - Africa at bioMérieux

Marc Haribou has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Marc began their career in 2003 as an Export Area Manager for Groupe Soparind Bongrain, where they focused on developing sales and distribution strategies in various regions such as Asia, the Middle East, and Southern Europe. Marc then moved on to Laboratoires Forté Pharma in 2008, where they continued their role as an Export Area Manager, responsible for implementing marketing strategies and managing administrative tasks to drive profitable growth. From 2011 to 2018, Marc worked at Groupe PANZANI, serving as an Export Area Manager, International Business Unit Manager, and eventually the MEA Managing Director. During their time there, they were responsible for managing the company's operations and expanding its presence in the Middle East and Africa. Most recently, Marc has been working at bioMérieux since 2018, where they have held the positions of Regional Business Manager, Chief of staff ClinOps, and currently serves as the Senior Vice President overseeing Clinical Operations in Africa.

Marc Haribou completed their DEUG SVST degree in Chimie-Biologie at UPVD Alumni from 1997-1999. Marc then pursued a Maitrise Sciences et Techniques - Commerce International at IAE FRANCE - Écoles Universitaires de Management from 1999-2001. Following this, they obtained a Master Commerce International degree from CY Cergy Paris Université in 2001-2002. Additionally, Marc earned an A.E degree in Financial Accounting, Marketing, Management, and Computer Science from the University at Albany, SUNY in 2000.
