Caroline Dau is an Associate Scientist at BIOMILQ since July 2022, responsible for developing budgeting charters and assisting in writing a provisional patent related to human mammary epithelial cell bioprocess. Previously, as a Senior Research Associate, Caroline optimized bioprocess platforms, managed the screening and transition of novel cell lines, conducted numerous assays for cellular productivity, and maintained a bioreactor database. As an Engineering Associate, technical specifications for cell culture systems were identified, and collaboration with CROs and CDMOs took place for bioprocess optimization. Caroline's research experience also includes a role as a Research Assistant at North Carolina State University, focusing on bioengineered tissues, and as a Peer Tutor for STEM subjects in TRIO Collegiate Programs. Earlier positions included a Student Lab Associate at BIOMILQ and a Research Assistant at High Point University, where foundational laboratory techniques were developed. Caroline holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical and Health Sciences Engineering from North Carolina State University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
