Eyal Ben-Dor Cohen

Eyal Ben-Dor Cohen has a diverse work experience. Eyal is currently working at BiomX Inc as a Drug Product Scientist, where they have held various roles including Drug Product Research Assistant and Assay Development Scientist. In 2019, they worked as a Data Miner at SIT Innovation - Systematic Inventive Thinking ®. Prior to that, Eyal worked as a Student Researcher at Hebrew University of Jerusalem, specializing in the mycobiome of marine sponges. Eyal also worked as a Research Assistant at the same university, with expertise in plant breeding and seed production. Eyal began their career as a Senior Counselor at the Hebrew Scouts Movement in Israel before serving as a Lieutenant in the Israeli Navy, where they gained valuable experience in commanding teams and working under pressure.

Eyal Ben-Dor Cohen pursued their education with a focus on the field of biology. Eyal began their educational journey at The Hebrew University High School from 2006 to 2008, where they studied biology. After completing high school, Eyal attended the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, specifically the Robert H. Smith Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment, from 2014 to 2017. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Plant Sciences in Agriculture with a specialization in Biotechnology. Eyal continued their academic pursuits by enrolling in Tel Aviv University from 2017 to 2019, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Marine Microbiology. Additionally, Eyal furthered their knowledge and expertise in the field by completing a certification course entitled "Topical Emulsions in the Pharmaceutical Industries" at CfPA - The Center for Professional Advancement, which they obtained in December 2021.
