Christian Bahamon

Christian Bahamon is an Associate Researcher 2 at Bionano Genomics, Inc. since October 2019, focusing on extracting ultra-high molecular weight DNA for optical genome mapping and troubleshooting with customers and internal teams. Previously, Christian served as an Associate Researcher at NYU Langone Medical Center from October 2017 to August 2019, where responsibilities included managing mouse colonies and utilizing CRISPR/Cas9 in lung cancer models. Christian's experience also includes roles at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, providing education at Scitech Kids, and research and ambassador duties at NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering. Christian holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biomolecular Science from New York University, completed in 2015.
