Viren Wasnikar is an accomplished software engineering leader with extensive experience in the biotechnology sector. Currently serving as Vice President of Software Engineering at Bionano Genomics, Inc. since February 2022, Viren previously held roles as Senior Director of Software Engineering and Director of Software Development at BioDiscovery from August 2000 to May 2022. Viren began the professional journey as a Senior Software Engineer, bringing a solid foundation in computer science with a Master’s degree from the University of Texas at Tyler, earned between 1998 and 2000.
