Gemma Tyrrell

Gemma Tyrrell has a diverse work experience in various healthcare and emergency service roles. Gemma started their career as a Paediatric Cardiac Nurse at UH Bristol Bristol Children's Hospital in 2010 and also worked as a Prison Nurse at Serco from 2010 to 2011. In 2012, they joined Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse. Gemma then moved on to Healthcare at Home in 2014, where they worked as a Paediatric Homecare Nurse and later became a Clinical Services Manager. In 2020, they joined Bionical Solutions as a Clinical Operations Manager and eventually became the Director of Clinical Transformation. More recently, in 2023, they started working as an Oncall Firefighter (in training) at Avon Fire & Rescue Service.

Gemma Tyrrell obtained a Master's degree in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing from the University of the West of England in 2013. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) in Children's Nursing from the same university between 2007 and 2010.
