Jie Zhu

Jie Zhu is an experienced professional in the field of cell biology, currently serving as Associate Director of Cell Biology at BioRay Pharmaceutical since July 2020. Previously, Jie Zhu held multiple roles at BPS Bioscience Inc., including Cell Biology Group Leader and Senior Scientist, focusing on cell-based customer assay development from November 2014 to July 2020. Prior experience includes a position as Research Associate at The Scripps Research Institute, contributing to projects on quorum sensing and chemoimmunotherapy in Dr. Kim Janda's lab, from September 2010 to August 2014. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology and Medicinal Chemistry from The University of Texas at Austin, alongside a Master's degree in Plant Physiology from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor's degree in Life Science and Biotechnology from Nanjing University.
