Aaron Yuan

Aaron Yuan has a diverse and extensive work experience. Aaron started as a Student Worker at the Center for Access to Engineering Excellence in 2013. In 2015, they worked as a Computational Researcher at UCSF, where they focused on computational and statistical genetics research.

Aaron then joined Upwork in 2017, initially as a Software Developer Intern and later transitioning to a full-time role as a Software Engineer. During their time at Upwork, they were involved in various projects, including backend Java development and full-stack work. Aaron also played a key role in upgrading the infrastructure of the Enterprise product and implementing a chat-bot into Upwork's messaging system.

In 2022, Aaron joined Vesta as a Software Engineer, where they worked until 2023.

Finally, Aaron is currently working at BioRender as a Software Engineer, starting in 2023.

Aaron Yuan completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, from 2013 to 2017.
