Kasper Langebjerg Andersen

Kasper Langebjerg Andersen is a Senior Scientist at BiOrigin since October 2022, focusing on biotech-oriented research and project development, particularly for Novo Seeds. Previous experience includes serving as an Assistant Professor at the Biotech Research & Innovation Centre (BRIC) at the University of Copenhagen from September 2016 to September 2022, with a specialization in ribosomes and cancer research, where Andersen established drug-screening pipelines and aimed to develop start-up projects. Prior roles include Research Associate at Rigshospitalet, a Postdoc at both University of Copenhagen and UC Berkeley, and a PhD student at the University of Copenhagen, demonstrating a strong background in RNA biology, biochemistry, and molecular biology. Andersen holds a PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Cell Biology from the University of Copenhagen, complemented by a visiting research scholar experience at UC Berkeley.
