Sarah Budde Rodriguez

Sarah Budde Rodriguez is a Field Development Specialist and Plant Pathologist at BioSafe Systems since January 2021. Previously, Sarah held the position of Postdoctoral Researcher at North Dakota State University from October 2011 to September 2022, where responsibilities included conducting dry bean surveys for rust presence and evaluating rust races. Sarah's academic background includes a PhD in Plant Pathology/Phytopathology and a BS in Microbiology from North Dakota State University, with extensive research on fungicide resistance in Alternaria species in potatoes and a solid foundation in plant disease management and epidemiology. Practical experience includes maintaining greenhouse trials, laboratory experimentation, and isolating pathogens from plant tissue.
