Kalon Hewage

Kalon Hewage has a diverse work experience. Kalon began their career in 2014 as an Elective Student at SA Red Cross Air Mercy Service and Edendale Hospital. That same year, they also held the position of Foundation Year Doctor at Dorset County Hospital Foundation Trust. In 2015, Hewage was the Surgical Lead at BIOS Health Ltd. In 2016, they were the Trauma and Orthopaedics Core Surgical Trainee at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. In 2017, they were Co-Founder at CUSH Health. In 2018, they were the Trauma and Orthopaedics Registrar at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. Finally, in 2019, Hewage was the NHS England Clinical Entrepreneur at NHS England. Kalon is currently a Venture Fellow at Pace Ventures.

Kalon Hewage completed a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Imperial College London from 2008 to 2014. During this time, they also completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Haematology from Imperial College London from 2011 to 2012. Kalon then completed an MSc in Orthopaedic Trauma Science at Queen Mary University of London from 2016 to 2018. Finally, they obtained an MRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.
