Subidhya (Subi) Shrestha

Subidhya (Subi) Shrestha is a skilled scientist currently serving as a Development Scientist and Production Scientist at BioSkryb Genomics since June 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Laboratory Research Analyst II at Duke University from June 2021 to June 2023, where Subidhya developed and executed functional genomics projects and utilized CRISPR/Cas9 technologies. Earlier, Subidhya was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the USDA Agricultural Research Service from July 2017 to June 2021, focusing on CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing and molecular characterization. Academic contributions include work as a Research Intern and Graduate Research Assistant at North Dakota State University from May 2012 to July 2017, encompassing histopathological studies and QTL mapping. Subidhya holds a Ph.D. in Plant Pathology/Phytopathology from North Dakota State University and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Sciences from Tribhuvan University.
