Eden Whitlock

Eden Whitlock currently serves as a Senior Project Officer at the Department of Environment, Science and Innovation, focusing on enhancing the engagement and impact of the Science Division. As a Researcher at the Australian Council of Learned Academies, Eden develops strategic reports to influence policy and enrich Australia's knowledge base. Freelance writing efforts are also undertaken at BioSpace. Previously, Eden was a Senior Researcher at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute, where research involved autoimmunity and disease. Earlier roles include Science Communicator and Research Support Officer at The Peter Doherty Institute, and various Research Assistant positions at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research and La Trobe University. Eden holds a Graduate Certificate of Science Communication from The Australian National University and a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology and Cell Biology from La Trobe University.
