Mr. Satish Kamath is the Company Secretary and Group Chief Financial Officer at Biostadt India Limited. He has played an instrumental role in developing and managing a multitude of financial and legal functions. Working at Biostadt India Limited since its inception, Mr. Kamath has taken on the responsibilities of the entire Finance, Accounts, Costing, Tax, Secretarial and Legal functions at Biostadt India Limited.

Mr. Kamath provides the necessary impetus for managing day-to-day working capital requirements and funds management, ensuring statutory and legal compliances, effective tax planning and more. He spares no effort to create, maintain and continuously update his knowledge on commercial developments and takes the lead to identify and initiate various aspects of financial planning and control.

Encompassing over 30 years of experience in the industry, Mr. Kamath has previously worked at other well established companies such as Godfrey Phillips India Ltd., The Dharamsi Morarji Chemical Co. Ltd. and Ethypharm LL Limited. He played a substantial role at Wockhardt Life Sciences Ltd., before it was established as Biostadt India Limited in 2003.

Mr. Kamath believes that 'when a company saves a penny, the pounds take care of themselves'. His contributions to the success of the company have not gone unnoticed. Over the years, he has been awarded for his significant performance and acquired the title of ‘Outstanding Biostadian’. He has also been honoured with the ‘Chairman’s Appreciation Award’ in 2009 and Team Awards several times.

Mr. Kamath holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Mumbai. His qualifications include having passed the Chartered Accountancy Examination and the Company Secretary Examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, respectively. He also did a short course on Strategic Financial Management at the Asian Institute of Management, Manila, Philippines.
