Joey Jedlicka

Joey Jedlicka is an accomplished professional in agricultural technology and plant breeding, currently serving as AgTech Innovation Director at BioSTL since October 2024. Previously, Joey held various senior leadership roles at Farmer's Business Network, Inc., overseeing research and development in breeding and product development for corn and canola, and leading large-scale on-farm trials. Joey's experience also includes significant tenure at Bayer Crop Science as Plant Health Product Development Lead, where responsibilities encompassed strategy and trial execution across multiple crops. Earlier positions at Monsanto Company involved pioneering soybean germplasm enhancement and summer research focused on biotechnology. Joey's academic background features a Ph.D. in Molecular Plant Breeding and Genetics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
