Vicky Gibson

Vicky has a BSc in Chemistry and a PhD on synthesis and evaluation of anthraquinone-oligodeoxynucleotide conjugates. She continued this work as a Postdoc before joining Dextra as a synthetic chemist.

Following this Vicky took a commercial role and joined CMS Chemicals as a Product Manager and it was here she met with the team that set up Carbosynth where she ultimately became technical director. With the acquisition of the Carbosynth group to Biosynth and the formation of Biosynth Carbosynth, Vicky took on responsibilities for one of the two newly formed divisions, Pharamceutical and Diagnostics Products. This division oversees the project-based work that forms the Bulk and Custom products business as well as Biosynth Carbosynth's CDMO Services.

Vicky remains close to the chemistry being done within the division, working with the project teams and managers to ensure delivery of the most complex projects for customers.
