Catalina Castillo Pérez

Catalina Castillo Pérez has a diverse work experience in the wine industry. Catalina started their career as a Practicante Enologíain 2020 at Vina El Principal S.A., where they assisted in the production of white and red wines. Catalina'sresponsibilities included performing remontages, handling pumps, inoculations, and monitoring fermentations.

In 2021, they worked as an Enóloga de Bodega at Viña Indomita SA, specializing in cellar activities such as milling and vinification of white and red wines. Catalina gained expertise in machinery and pump operation, as well as inoculation, fermentation tracking, and flotation.

In 2022, Catalina joined Viña Lapostolle as an Asistente Enóloga during the harvest season. Catalina'srole involved supervising harvest reception and weighing, as well as overseeing milling and vinification processes.

Currently, Catalina Castillo Pérez holds the position of Technical Sales Manager at BioSystems, starting in December 2022.

Catalina Castillo Pérez has obtained a degree in Ingeniero Agrónomo from Universidad de Chile. Additionally, they have also pursued further education at the same institution, completing a Magíster en Ciencias Agropecuarias with a specialization in Enología.
