Ellen Cotrina

Ellen Cotrina has a diverse work history in the research field. Ellen began their career as a Researcher at the Instituto Químico de Sarria in 2010 and worked there until 2016. Following this, they joined CSIC-IQAC as a PhD Student from 2016 to 2021. Ellen then worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Nb4D NANOTECHNOLOGY FOR DIAGNOSTICS starting in 2021. Currently, in 2022, they are employed as a Senior Research and Development Scientist at BioSystems.

Ellen Cotrina completed their education from 1998 to 2003 at Universidad Nacional Pedro Ruíz Gallo, where they earned a degree in Ingeniería Química. Ellen pursued further education from 2010 to 2012 at IQS Barcelona, obtaining an Msc. in Bioengineering. Later, from 2016 to 2021, Ellen Cotrina attended Universitat de Barcelona and earned a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD, specializing in Biotechnology.
