Mercè Boix Ramoneda

Mercè Boix Ramoneda has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Mercè started working as a Laboratory Technician at Semillas Fitó in 2004, where they conducted seed analysis and germination control. Mercè then worked as a Support Teacher at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2004 to 2005.

In 2005, Mercè transitioned to customer support and worked as a Customer Support Specialist at Sony until 2006. Mercè then joined Kiluva Diet, SLU as a Nutritional Adviser from 2006 to 2007.

From 2007 to 2009, Mercè worked at INGAL, Ingeniería y Consulting S.L. as an Environmental and Food Safety Technician. Mercè was responsible for environmental consulting, food hygiene, and quality projects in the food industry.

In 2010, Mercè held two positions simultaneously. Mercè worked as an Environmental Technician at Badalona City Council from June 2010 to January 2011. At the same time, they also worked as a Technical School Teacher at Escuela de Formación Profesional Ramón y Cajal, teaching subjects such as biochemistry and health education.

From 2012 to 2013, Mercè worked as an R&D Consultant at F. Iniciativas, I+D+i, where they provided R&D consulting services for food, biotechnology, and chemical companies.

In 2011, they took on the role of Design & Content Manager at planerGO, where they were responsible for managing design and content until 2016.

Finally, Mercè joined BioSystems in 2013 and held various roles within the company. Mercè started as a Product Specialist from October 2013 to January 2016. Mercè then became a Product Manager from January 2016 to January 2019. Currently, they work as a Business Development Manager, focusing on the global development of analytical systems for the Food & Beverage Line.

Mercè Boix Ramoneda completed their Master Science Degree in Biology with a specialization in Biotechnology and Food Biology at Universitat de Barcelona from 1998 to 2003. Following this, they pursued a degree in Engineering in Food Industry at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2003 to 2007. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a Certificate of Advanced English from Cambridge English in July 2017.
