Petraki Munujos

Chief Research Officer at BioSystems

Petraki Munujos has extensive work experience in the field of research and development. They started their career as a Post Doc at Merck in 1993 and worked there until 1995. Following that, Petraki joined BioSystems S.A. and held various roles, including Senior Scientist in R&D from 1995 to 2006. From 2006 to 2016, they served as the R&D Projects Director at BioSystems, where they managed IVD new developments, provided scientific advising for R&D projects, and oversaw projects funded with both public and private funds. From 2017 to 2019, Petraki was the R&D Director for Reagents at BioSystems. They are currently working at BioSystems as the Chief Research Officer, a position they have held since January 2020.

From 1982 to 1987, Petraki Munujos studied Biology at the Universitat de Barcelona, where they did not obtain a specific degree. Following this, from 1987 to 1992, Petraki Munujos pursued a PhD in Biology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Additionally, from 1987 to 1989, they completed a Master's program in Clinical Biochemistry and Molecular Pathology at the same institution.
