Project Lead Development Products at Biotest

Christian Hüber has a diverse work experience in the field of medical and scientific affairs. Christian began their career as a Research Intern at Trinity College Dublin in 2009, followed by a role as an M.Sc. Student at the University of Heidelberg, where they focused on projects related to viral RNA and Hepatitis C Virus. Christian then worked as a Visiting Research Scientist at the Clinical Hospital Center Rijeka in 2011.

In 2012, Christian took on the role of CEO at InstaTest Systems, a hypothetical start-up company, where they developed strategies in R&D, finance, IP, and marketing. Christian later became a Science Policy Intern at The Academy of Medical Sciences in 2013, where they gained experience in the field of science policy and authored consultation responses and joint statements.

Christian pursued a PhD at the University of Cambridge from 2011 to 2015, where their research focused on natural killer (NK) cells' immunological memory in the context of infection, transplantation, and oncology. Their work led to two publications in scientific journals and the initiation of a clinical trial.

From 2015 onwards, Christian joined Biotest AG, starting as an International Trainee in Commercial Operations before progressing to the role of Medical Marketing Manager for Transplantation. Christian then became a Manager and later a Senior Manager in Corporate Medical Affairs, taking responsibility for medical and scientific aspects within the infection and transplantation therapeutic areas. Their duties included KOL management, advisory board organization, medical information provision, trainings, and the advancement of existing and development products.

Most recently, Christian is serving as a Project Lead for Development Products at Biotest AG, demonstrating their expertise and leadership in this field. This comprehensive work experience showcases Christian's proficiency in medical and scientific affairs, research, policy, and business development.

Christian Hüber holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Immunology from the University of Cambridge (2011-2015). Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Research degree in Immunology from the same university (2010-2011). Christian completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Infectious Diseases at Heidelberg University (2008-2010) and their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Heidelberg University as well (2005-2008).
