Christian Schulz

Christian Schulz has a strong background in IT leadership and management. Christian is currently the Head of Global IT (CIO) at BIOTRONIK since April 2023, and prior to that, they served as the Head of IT, Business Unit VI (IT Director - Biotronik AG) from May 2017 to March 2023. Before joining BIOTRONIK, Schulz was employed at Nobel Biocare, where they held the position of CIO from May 2015 to April 2017, and previously as the IT Director Global Infrastructure from July 2012 to April 2015. Christian also worked at T-Systems as the Head of Region APAC Global Account Daimler from May 2011 to June 2012. Schulz has extensive experience at multi-national corporations, including positions such as IT Director Global Service Delivery & APAC Region at Nobel Biocare from July 2008 to April 2011, Director SI Project & Design at T-Systems Japan K.K. from May 2006 to June 2008, and Manager IT Governance & IT Controlling at MFTBC (DaimlerChrysler Group) from August 2004 to April 2006. Christian started their career as an Assistant Manager IT Governance at Mitsubishi Motors (DaimlerChrysler Group) from September 2003 to July 2004. Schulz also has teaching experience as an Assistant Lecturer at Freie Universität Berlin from April 2002 to August 2003.

Christian Schulz completed their Master's degree (MA) in Business Administration, Informatics, and Japanese Studies at Freie Universität Berlin from 1996 to 2003. Christian also studied Japanese, Marketing, and Economics at Chuo University from 1999 to 2000. In addition, they obtained certifications as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in December 2007 and as a Certified ARIS Professional (CAP) from IDS Scheer in 2006.
