Mary Mayo, PhD, BCLD, DABCC, FAACC, MLS(ASCP)

Mary Mayo, PhD, BCLD, DABCC, FAACC, MLS(ASCP) has extensive experience in the field of laboratory medicine. Mary began their career in 1999 as the Program Director of Medical Technology at Austin Peay State University. In 2004, they moved to Saint Louis University Hospital, where they were the Medical Director of Clinical Chemistry, Specialized Chemistry, and Point of Care Testing Laboratories, as well as an Associate Professor of Pathology. In 2010, they became Co-Director of the Clinical Pathology Residency Training Program at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. In 2011, they were appointed Director of the Biochemical Genetics Laboratory at Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center. From 2013 to 2016, they held the roles of Clinical Laboratory Medical Director and Laboratory Scientific Director at PathGroup. In 2020, they joined Beckman Coulter Diagnostics as Senior Manager of Medical Safety. Most recently, they have been working as the Laboratory Director at HEARTLAND WOMENS HEALTHCARE, LTD since 2019 and at Biovision Diagnostics since 2021.

Mary Mayo, PhD, BCLD, DABCC, FAACC, MLS(ASCP) obtained their PhD and MS in Biological Chemistry from the University of Michigan.
