BioXcel Therapeutics is seeking an exceptional and experienced Corporate Account Director to champion IGALMI, our innovative treatment for agitation associated with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia within assigned geography. The Corporate Account Director will be accountable for building system-wide awareness, advocacy, formulary access and pull-through for Igalmi within targeted Long Term Care Network, Psychiatry Institutions/Accounts, and select Health System & Integrated Delivery Networks (IDN). The CAD role must effectively collaborate cross functionally with Sales, Sales Management, Medical Affairs, and Market Access to profile large systems, identify access pathways, and develop business plans that open approval for Igalmi to be utilized at the account level. Success will be accomplished by driving strong partnerships with external customers that open utilization opportunities for Igalmi setting the stage for BioXcel commercial success. Responsibilities: ·        Identify Igalmi opportunities at targeted Psychiatric Institutions/Accounts, Long Term Care systems, IDN’s and health systems. Map the formulary decision process, key influencers, timeline, and needs. Develop a business plan for access inclusion for Igalmi and align internal stakeholders as needed for pull-through. ·        Cultivate strong relationships with targeted accounts and segment the market to prioritize time and effort for optimal impact. ·        Ensure formulary access and assist in the pull-through process. Develop effective business plans to meet and exceed territory-level goals. Possess the understanding and ability to sell in different settings of care and identify key business opportunities within these settings ·        Effectively utilizes account selling strategies to achieve goals through building relationships with and meeting the needs of all members of the patients' care team (Pharm D, MD/NP/PA, LPN/RN) ·        Manages relationships with important customers, including key opinion leaders, local and regional payers, and pharmacies Market & Therapeutic area expertise: Gather and validate key trends and dynamics in the market, map account linkages, and apply comprehensive therapeutic knowledge to uncover and prioritize unique opportunities. Conduct ongoing market research to understand competitor activity, payer landscape, and evolving treatment trends in the management of agitation associated with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Strictly adhere to BioXcel code of conduct guidelines, T/E policy, and other policies as written.  Qualifications: ·        8+ years of experience in life science commercial position, including but not limited to the following: hospital sales representative, national accounts, long term care accounts, key accounts, market access, sales management, sales operations. ·        Experience and success in Total Account Call scenarios, with multiple specialties and provider levels, aligning behind utilization and process of a products use in the hospital. ·        Documented success working collaboratively and effectively with sales teams to execute pull through strategies, positively influence access decision, drive demand and sales and find solutions to help overcome access barriers, including barriers based on UM restrictions, medical policy etc. ·        Recent experience in managing key accounts in the psychiatric market, specifically in areas in which formulary management and hospital infrastructure impacted appropriate drug utilization. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences of HCPs. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment. ·        Product Launch experience required. ·        Experience in a combination of large and start-up companies preferred. ·        Demonstrated ability to work effectively cross-functionally with a positive team mindset and can-do attitude. Travel up to 50%, must live within close proximity to an airport Desired Skills: Prior experience launching and promoting a new medication within the psychiatry space. Established relationships and proven success within Pyschiatric Institutions, State Mental Health Facilities, Mental/Behavioral Health Accounts and/or Behavioral Health Long Term Care facilities.
