Greg Louden

Greg Louden has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Greg is currently working as a Regional Business Director at BioXcel Therapeutics, Inc. Since joining the company in September 2022, they have been responsible for overseeing business operations in the region.

Prior to their current role, Greg worked at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as an Institutional Regional Sales Director for a biologic IV reversal agent. In this position, they covered the West region and was in charge of adding the reversal therapy (Andexxa) to hospital formularies and implementing it for patients with life-threatening bleeds associated with Xa inhibitors.

Before joining Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Greg served as an Institutional Regional Business Director at Portola Pharmaceuticals, where they led the national launch of Andexxa in 2018. Greg successfully managed relationships with teaching institutions and large trauma/stroke centers, exceeding sales and stocking forecasts each month during the limited launch. Greg currently manages a team in the Mountain States region.

Greg's previous experience also includes working as an Institutional District Manager at Allergan from 2014 to 2017, where they managed the sales of IV anti-infective agents and Buy and Bill treatments. Prior to that, they worked as an Institutional Sales Professional at Gilead Sciences from 2012 to 2014.

Additionally, Greg held roles at sanofi-aventis, starting as an Institutional District Sales Manager from 2007 to 2011 and then as an Institutional Sales Professional from 2000 to 2006. During their time at sanofi-aventis, they specialized in selling anticoagulants and antiplatelets to hospitals in the Colorado markets, including DOD/VAMC, teaching and community hospitals. Greg achieved recognition as a three-time President Club winner.

Greg Louden holds a BA degree in Political Science/Economics from Colorado State University. The exact duration of their education at this institution is unknown.
