Martin Bálek

Martin Bálek has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Martin started their career as a Researcher at Charles University in 2002 and worked there until 2013. In 2012, they joined NCLab as a Software Developer and stayed until 2014. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as an AGI Researcher at GoodAI. In 2016, they joined Avast and held various roles, including Research Director and Staff Scientist AI, until 2022. In 2019, they worked as a Babysitter before joining BioXcel Therapeutics, Inc. in 2023 as an AI Engineer. Additionally, in 2013 they also worked as a Typesetter for PLAV - měsíčník pro světovou literaturu.

Martin Bálek began their education in 1992 at Gymnazium Teplice, where they completed their studies in 1996. Martin then pursued a degree in Mathematics from Charles University, from 1996 to 2002, earning the degree of Mgr.
