Sonja Hokett

Sonja Hokett began their work experience in 2019 at Intercept Pharmaceuticals, where they held the position of Sr. National Director, Managed Care. Sonja joined BioXcel Therapeutics Inc. in 2020 as the Executive Director and Head of Medical Managed Care.

Sonja Hokett has an extensive education history. Sonja earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Pharmacy from the University of Louisiana Monroe in 1984. Sonja went on to pursue a Master of Science (MS) degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Administration from the University of Houston, which they completed in 1987. In 1995, they obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Idaho State University, specializing in Clinical Pharmacy. Most recently, they attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2019 to 2022, where they completed the Executive Masters program in Health Economics, Policy & Management.
