Kathryn McGinnis is an accomplished professional with experience in economic analysis and research. Currently serving as an Assistant Analyst at the Congressional Budget Office since June 2021, Kathryn collaborates with economists on various national security topics and employs coding tools such as VBA Macros, Stata, and R for data analysis. As a Research Intern at the Bipartisan Policy Center from January 2021, Kathryn contributes to economic policy projects, including legislation for unemployment insurance, while also producing briefs on current events. Previous experience includes researching homelessness at the Licking County Coalition for Housing, coordinating activities for low-income students at Bowdoin College Upward Bound, and publishing a report on historical topics at the Ohio History Connection.
