Karla Hawkins

Karla Hawkins is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in business development and marketing within the legal and financial sectors. Since February 2008, Karla has served as the Senior Marketing & Business Development Manager for the Intellectual Property Group at Bird & Bird, overseeing international marketing activities across 30 offices and collaborating with a team of over 400 IP lawyers. Prior to this, Karla held multiple marketing coordinator roles, including at Buddle Findlay, where responsibilities encompassed full marketing and business development activities for the Auckland office, and at Comacc, focusing on digital marketing and lead generation. Karla’s career began at Auckland Co-operative Taxis, managing corporate accounts and developing marketing strategies. Karla holds a degree from Auckland University of Technology and has completed Prince2 training through ILX Group.
